2026-27 Rep Team Tryouts

Seattle Red Hawks prides itself on the transparency, fairness, and thoughtfulness built into our tryout process. We do not have "cuts" because we believe all players should have as many chances as possible. We do not force registrations on our families. We are dedicated to writing feedback for any player or goalie who requests it from us. All players who are registered for tryouts, whether present or absent, are considered with our Core Values in mind. Players are placed on teams that are best for their development. Players must be registered for tryouts to attend. All Seattle Red Hawks tryouts are open to players from any association; no season registration will proceed tryouts.

2026-2027 PCAHA Red Hawks Rep Team Offerings

• U13 A
• U15 Elite AA (Nationally Bound Tier II)
• U15 A
• U18 A (19U Nationally Bound Tier II)
• U18 A (16U Nationally Bound Tier II)

At the completion of tryouts you will be notified as to your status on the Seattle Red Hawk teams. Should you be offered a spot, please be prepared to accept your position by way of a deposit in the amount of $400.00. 

Players on our U13, U15, and U18 rep teams require a high level of commitment. All rep teams have mandatory practice and travel expectations set by coaches and outlined during tryout weekends. Off season training and off ice training will be expected from all travel players.

The full time girls' teams are huge piece in making the Seattle Red Hawks the most complete girls program in the state of Washington. We will host girls beginners and teams at 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 19U Divisions.  

With a full-service program, Seattle Junior and WWFHA now offer a place for players 6U to 19U to play at any level of competition. Our ability to provide all levels of hockey ensures the capability of properly placing players at appropriate levels which will strengthen our teams from top to bottom.

• Hudl video breakdowns and profiles for each player
• Video review 1x a week as a team
• Team locker rooms for the U15 Elite AA and U18 A1 teams at Lynnwood Ice Center

• Will be announced before tryouts

We understand that financial situations can vary, and we are committed to providing options for those facing difficulties. Our organization offers alternative payment plans to assist individuals and families in managing their financial obligations. Please contact us directly to discuss these options and find a solution that works for you.

What if I'm unable to make the tryouts?

If you are unable to attend tryouts, you must contact Girls Hockey Director Annie Smyth-Hammond (a.smyth-hammond@sjha.com) and notify her of your inability to attend. At the Director's discretion, you may be granted a secondary tryout. If granted, you will need to register for the tryout and pay in full. We will provide tryout jerseys.
