Welcome to the Seattle Red Hawks 2025–26 Hockey Season!

Dear Seattle Red Hawks Families, Coaches, and Volunteers,

We’re thrilled to welcome you back for another exciting season of Red Hawks hockey! The start of the season is always a special time — a chance to hit the ice with renewed energy, celebrate our community, and continue building memories together. Whether you are a returning player, a new family, or one of our many dedicated volunteers, thank you for being part of what makes the Seattle Red Hawks so special.

The Red Hawks had an incredible 2024–25 season. This was the first year the Red Hawks program was eligible to compete in the USA Hockey National Championships. The U15 A1 team placed second in the Pacific District Championship and earned the right to compete at USA Hockey Nationals in Coral Springs, Florida, advancing out of the pool round and narrowly falling 4–5 in overtime in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, the U18 A1 team won the Pacific District Championship and also advanced to USA Hockey Nationals in Cleveland, Ohio, where they too emerged from the pool round and battled fiercely before losing 4–5 in overtime in the quarterfinals. These achievements reflect the talent, dedication, and heart of our athletes, coaches, and families — and we couldn’t be prouder.

We believe that the best development for our female athletes is achieved through competitive local female league play delivered on a weekly cadence with practices every week and weekend games. This season — our third season in existence — the Red Hawks are proud to be fielding five teams. Four of those teams will compete in the established PCAHA female leagues, continuing our strong presence in regional play. The fifth team, our U15 Elite AA, will compete in the brand-new Pacific Coast Elite Hockey League (https://pcaha.ca/female-aa/). This league marks an exciting new chapter for female hockey in the Pacific Northwest, opening fresh opportunities for our athletes this year and in seasons to come.

We are also proud to announce the launch of our brand-new website: www.seattleredhawks.org. It’s your one-stop hub for schedules, updates, team information, and news. Please take a moment to explore the site and share it with friends and family who want to follow along with our season.

As a non-profit, we rely on the generosity of our families and supporters to fund the Red Hawks program. Donations to the Seattle Red Hawks should be made through the Western Washington Female Hockey Association (WWFHA). Your contributions help cover ice time, equipment, development programs, and the many opportunities we provide for our athletes.
